Roosevelt|Energy
Mission
Roosevelt|Energy, a conference hosted by the Roosevelt Institution at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, seeks to connect members of the Institution nationwide with private and public sector leaders in energy policy. The forum is intended to provide these future policy leaders with the contacts and initial insight into the fundamentals of creating an energy policy for the United States of America.
Format
Roosevelt|Energy aims to provide Roosevelt Institution fellows from across the country with the fundamentals in understanding energy policy. The conference will include distinguished commentators from the academic, commercial, political and social realms in an effort to discern the "perfect" policy proposal.
Panels throughout the conference will be compiled of one or two Roosevelt Fellows presenting a policy paper which will be made available to all attendees and panelists one month before the conference and four to six other distinguished commentators. We ask that all panelists be familiar with these proposals as to comment on the viable aspects of their proposals.
Through these critiques, we hope to discover the options that do not work, subsequently taking us one step toward an energy policy that does.
